Street Con­nec­tions is a mobile pub­lic health ser­vice in Winnipeg, part of Healthy Sex­u­al­i­ty and Harm Reduc­tion in the Win­nipeg Health Authority’s (WRHA) Pop­u­la­tion and Pub­lic Health Program. Pub­lic health nurs­es and out­reach work­ers dri­ve around the city to reduce the spread of sex­u­al­ly trans­mit­ted and blood-borne infec­tions (STB­BIs), includ­ing hepati­tis C and HIV, and oth­er drug-relat­ed harms.

Our Healthbox dispensing machine is located for self-testing, harm reduction supplies and wellness materials. It's also a machine that provides health information, and a support services directory for people to find the health care they need – in their community. Carlington Community Health Centre helps individuals take control of their personal health, and works to improve the health and well-being of our community as a whole. The Centre provides a wide range of health, mental health and addiction services to parents and children, youth and teens, and seniors. We deliver these services through workshops, drop-ins, support groups, community meetings, training, outreach, counselling, and education programs. The Centre also helps Carlington residents resolve problems and advance concerns in the community by providing organizational support and advocacy assistance to local groups and associations.
