Sistering is a multi-service agency for at-risk, socially isolated women and trans people in Toronto who are homeless or precariously housed.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery from substance use disorder or addictive behaviours. As Canada’s largest provider of compassionate, effective addiction care for nearly 30 years, we offer evidence-based programs that meet people where they are—and get them to where they want to be. From rapid access outpatient treatment for opioid use disorder to intensive inpatient addiction treatment and medical detox, our national care team are champions in our patients’ recovery, at any stage of their journey.

The DUDES Club was established in the Vancouver Downtown Eastside in 2010 and since then clubs have been set up in communities across British Columbia (see SITES). The DUDES Club is a proven model for Indigenous men’s wellness promotion that builds solidarity and brotherhood, enabling men to regain a sense of pride and purpose in their life.

Taykwa Tagamou Nation is a Cree First Nation located in Northern Ontario in the Cochrane District along the Abitibi River. Taykwa Tagamou Nation is a signatory of Treaty 9, a member of Mushkegowuk Council and Nishnawbe Aski Nation.

CATIE strengthens Canada’s response to HIV and hepatitis C by bridging research and practice. We connect healthcare and community-based service providers with the latest science, and promote good practices for prevention and treatment programs.

Sanguen Health Centre is a Ministry of Health funded Hepatitis C agency who provides wrap around support to those experiencing high degrees of marginalization as a result of their substance use, mental health, homelessness and chronic poverty. Headed by Dr. Chris Steingart our multidisciplinary team offers Hepatitis C nursing support, medical treatment for Hepatitis, primary care support, Peer support, Support Coordination and Outreach. Sanguen Health Centre offers a person centred practice of care, where service planning is specific to an individual’s desire for support. Our team uses Harm Reduction as its foundational pillar. Our philosophy is that there is value in every life.
